Amber was introduced on 1st May 1999.<\/p>\n
It was one of two cat Beanie Babies that were based on two orphaned cats who were adopted by Ty Warner, the other being Silver the Cat.<\/p>\n
Amber was made into a Beanie Buddy in October 1999.<\/p>\n
